Protease inhibitor to raltegravir switch maintains viral suppression, but NRTI resistance lowers efficacy

suppressive boosted protease inhibitor to the integrase inhibitor raltegravir (Isentress) generally maintained
undetectable viral load with improvements in blood lipid levels, according to a
pair of studies presented this week at the Eighteenth International AIDS
Conference in Vienna.
