AFRICAN HIV POLICY NETWORK (AHPN) BOARD OF TRUSTEES

Date: 31-03-2010

Nearly a million Africans live in the UK and you can make a difference and become a champion of their well being. We are looking for strategic, creative, diplomatic and dynamic individuals with integrity to join our board.

Ref. No: AHPN/BOT/2010

AHPN is a network of community based organisations (CBOs) across the United Kingdom, focusing on influencing and informing policy as it affects Africans living with and affected by HIV. We would like you to join us in achieving our aspiration to becoming the voice of Africans in the UK regarding their well being, HIV, AIDS and Sexual Health. This positioning will enable Africans living in the UK to play an active part in influencing services and policy, whilst creating a wider and stronger network of individuals and organisations that make a difference.

The AHPN is seeking a number of Board members to serve a full term over the next 3 years, with eligibility for renewal for a further term. The meetings will be held in London. The members of the Board will meet approximately 4-6 times a year to review and discuss strategic issues regarding the organisation whilst strengthening our policy aims.
