Posted Date: 02nd Jul 2012

In this new briefing, Better Housing examines the links between poor housing and TB prevalence for ethnic minority communities, finding:

"Around two-fifths of people from ethnic minorities in the UK live in low-income households (National Statistics 2002), and Bangladeshi and Black African are seven times as likely as White British households to live in overcrowded homes at 44 and 42 per cent respectively (Jones, 2010)."
