Organisation: NAtional AIDS Trust
A big thank you to those of you who responded to our earlier request for information on Supporting People, as part of our campaign to save the AIDS Support Grant. Unfortunately, we have only had six organisations get back to us with a filled in questionnaire, or to let us know that they have never received Supporting People money.
You will now know that the AIDS Support Grant will no longer be ring fenced from 2011, which is likely to have a big impact on local services. The more responses we have, the more effective our campaign to reinstate the ring-fence will be. We appreciate that you are very busy but your help will make a big difference.
We need you to tell us what impact losing the Supporting People ring-fence has had on your organisation, services and clients by filling in the attached questionnaire. Evidence of the impact of the loss of the Supporting People ring-fence will help us make the case for a ring-fenced AIDS Support Grant going forward.
For our campaign to be effective, we need as many responses as possible - if you have never received Supporting People money please tell us this, so that we are able to work out how many organisations these changes have affected.
Please download the questionnaire send all responses to policyandcampaigns@nat.org.uk by Friday 28 May. Anything you tell us will be treated in the strictest of confidence.
The more organisations that respond, the stronger our campaign will be! So thank you for your time, and we look forward to hearing from you.
