We are looking for dynamic, skilful, highly motivated and innovative team players to take up the following positions.

HEAD OF POLICY & DEPUTY CHIEF EXECUTIVE

Full time:     35 hours per week

Salary:         £40,000 (inclusive of ILW) plus 6% pension

Duration:     Permanent

You will take the lead in developing, maintaining and managing AHPN policy and campaigns in line with the organisation’s values; provide strategic coordination of policy activities; lead on campaigns, public and political affairs; membership management and deputise for the Chief Executive Officer.

COMMUNITY NETWORK OFFICER

We are looking for a dynamic, skilful, highly motivated and innovative team player.

Part Time:   21 hours per week

Salary:         £16,000 (inclusive of ILW) plus 6% pension

Duration:     Permanent

Ref No: AHPN/CNO/018

You will coordinate the African HIV Policy Network (AHPN) membership functions, with responsibilities for recruiting new members, organising events and other functions for members and delivery of membership offerings to ensure retention.

 

The AHPN is a network of Community Based Organisations (CBOs) across the United Kingdom, focusing on influencing and informing policy as it affects Africans living with and affected by HIV. We would like you to join us in achieving our aspiration in becoming the voice of Africans in the UK regarding their well being, HIV, AIDS and Sexual Health. This positioning will enable Africans living in the UK to play an active part in influencing services and policy, whilst creating a wider and stronger network of individuals and organisations that make a difference.
